I'm looking for a new laptop as soon as possible. Right now I'm rocking an Acer and it kind of embarrasses me when I have to use it in front of people cause it's usually pretty slow, the screen flickers, & it's ugly. Today I brought it with me to class and it ended up freezing and having to reboot because someone IMed me on Facebook. Another time in class it told me I had like 1 1/2 hours of battery life and died 20 minutes later. So I'm looking for a laptop that's fast (I'm going on "fast enough to play The Sims 3" cause I'm not really sure how to measure that), has a good battery life maybe somewhere around 2 hours if possible, is about 13" or so (this one's 15.4" and it's hard to fit into cases), and is at least mildly cute. Does anyone know of some good ones to look at? No Macs please because I'm a college student with no job so this has to be a gift from my parents and my dad would never pay for a Mac.
